Points to be checked before starting installation prerequisites:
1) Am I downloading Oracle DB software of correct version?
2) Is my database certified on current Operating System ?
Oracle Database 21.0.0.0.0 is certified on Linux x86-64 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 Update 2+
RHEL 8.2 with kernel version: 4.18.0-193.19.1.el8_2.x86_64 or later
3) What is my database software architecture i.e. 32 bit or 64 bit ?
4) What is my Operating System architecture i.e. 32 bit or 64 bit ?
5) Are Database and Operating System from same architecture ?
6) Is Operating System Kernel Version compatible with Oracle Database version to be installed ?
7) For your note, Oracle Database is supported on ext2, ext3 and ext4 file systems.
8) Minimum Configuration Required for installation(You can add more resources later as per requirement):
- RAM - 2 GB or more
- CPU - 1 or more
- /oracle - 30 GB
- /tmp - 1 GB

If you enable HugePages for your Linux servers, then you should deduct the memory allocated to HugePages from the available RAM before calculating swap space.
9) Storage Checklist for Oracle Database:
At least 7.8 GB for Oracle Database Enterprise Edition.
At least 7.8 GB for Oracle Database Standard Edition 2.
Oracle recommends that you allocate approximately 100 GB to allow additional space for applying any future patches.
10) Server should be started in runlevel 3 or runlevel 5.

Step 1: Create new virtual machine. Refer below steps for the same.
You have successfully added Redhat 8.4 disk image copy to created VDI machine. Now proceed with RHEL 8.4 installation.
Step 2: Install and configure RHEL 8.4. Refer below steps for the same. You can user Right CTRL key to come out from VDI screen.
Now you have successfully installed and configured RHEL 8.4. Refer below screens to install "Guest Additions" for drag and drop files from your Desk to VDI machine and vice-versa and also to perform easy cursor movement.
Stop and disable firewall and selinux. Refer below screens.
Add kernel and limits parameter in /etc/sysctl.conf and /etc/security/limits.conf file respectively. Don't forget to execute "sysctl -p" command otherwise parameters will not be in effect.

Step 3: Start with Oracle Software Installation

When i executed runInstaller first time, then i faced below error.

Create Yum Repository or install required RPMs.
Copy media.repo file from RHEL OS setup location to below location i.e. /media/sf_new.
Make changes for below single entry and add additional three lines in file "/etc/yum.repos.d/rhel7dvd.repo" :

Now post fixing the above issue, i have not seen the error again.
Click on "Create and configure a single instance database" option and click NEXT to continue.
Click on "Server Class" option to proceed.
Ensure you ORACLE_BASE and ORACLE_HOME locations are correct.
By default, the mode of database is container database (CDB), and the installer specifies orclpdb as the pluggable database (PDB) name. Specify the PDB name as preferred in the Pluggable Database Name field. The PDB name must be unique, and must follow the database naming conventions.
To create additional PDBs and to manage PDBs, use Oracle Database Configuration Assistant.
Edit and make changes in memory parameters and character sets as per requirement. I have just used default one.
Oracle Database 21c is managed by Oracle Database Express by default.You can use Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control to manage each Oracle Database 21c centrally. Specify the details of the Cloud Control configuration to manage your database.
This window gives you the option to manage your database using Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.
Select Register with Enterprise Manager (EM) Cloud Control and specify the following for Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control configuration, and click Next:.
OMS Host: This is the system name where the Management repository is running.
OMS Port: This is the Oracle Enterprise Manager port number to receive requests from the Management service.
EM Admin User Name: This is the user name to log in to Oracle Enterprise Manager.
EM Admin Password: This is the password to log in to Oracle Enterprise Manager.
Specify password of ASMSNMP user: This is the password for the ASMSNMP user configured in Oracle ASM, required only if you choose Oracle ASM as your database storage option.
Note: Oracle Enterprise Manager Database Express is always installed and configured by default irrespective of whether you register Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.
Enable recovery option if you require.
Select appropriate groups for role separation. I have used only DBA group for all.
Install below missing RPM packages:
