Considering the focus on AI (Artificial Intelligence),Oracle decided to change the database's name from Oracle Database 23c to Oracle Database 23ai. Oracle Database 23ai is the latest long-term support release of Oracle Database which includes many new features considering focus on AI(Artificial Intelligence) and Developer Productivity. Refer "Announcing Oracle Database 23ai : General Availability" and "Oracle Database 23ai New features" for more details about Oracle Database 23ai. The Premier Support ends on April 30, 2029 and Error Correction / Patching with Extended Support ends on April 30, 2032. Windows users can run Oracle Database 23ai Free using the provided container image and Docker Desktop for Windows or Oracle VM VirtualBox image. A Windows native installation is coming soon.
